I Challenge You To Challenge Me

Hi Spark friends!

I find myself feeling a little lazy today and would love your help and inspiration to snap me out of it. I have also been trying to mix up my workouts recently to keep them fresh.

How can you help? How about leaving me a comment with workout suggestions? It can be your favorite SP video, a quick strength exercise, cardio, on the floor, on the elliptical or treadmill, with the ball, resistance band, dumbbells.... I know the options are endless.

I thought this might be a fun way to try some new things or even just new combinations. If I get enough suggestions, maybe you will carry me through the week.

Don't be shy now...challenge me to do something and I will be sure to let you know when I do it and how I did.

Going to go change out of my PJs now (after all it is noon LOL) so that I'm ready to get moving.

    Do one of Leslie Sansone' s boosted walks. Those are always good :) I do those along with Walk it Out. You can boost and build at the same time :)

    Thanks so much for challenging me. I did Coach Nicole's kickboxing video that Judi challenged. That was good; I hadn't done that one in a long time.

    Beachwalker: I'm giving your linked video a try tomorrow. I did some additional exercises after the kickboxing and wasn't up to another half hour plus; but, I will be ready for it tomorrow! I'll follow that with Diane's suggestion and that should be a good workout for a Monday.

    Dumbbell reverse fly on ball
    Plank
    Alternating lunges with bicep curls
    Mountain climbers

    When I feel lazy or my knees are hurting I like my chair exercises. But, I like my walking the most! How about looking up a new park and check out the trail? If it is too chilly out, look on the computer on You Tube for a cool new exercise. I found one for my chair workouts I do 5x a week called Chair Salsa:

    Paul is kind of goofy, but I think it is fun.
    Someone posted a blog about finding a treasure trove of exercise DVD's at the library. I plan to go check that out, need more on the milder side. I can't do any of the hopping, lunging, floor mat stuff that Coach Nicole does!
    I saw this video on Youtube just now, looks so cool, if you can handle it-wish I could- I would throw my back and knees out if I did it! emoticon
