I always like the beginning of a month.. Day1 I look forward to the following 31 days to make more changes and make goals. Last month I did pretty well following my plan. I had slip ups, but plan on putting it behind me.. and moving forward.
So I measured my body today. Everything stayed exactly the same.. Not sure why? I've gained 4 pounds these last 2 weeks.. could it be due to thanksgiving.. and celebrating two birthdays? Possibly. I wonder if I used the fact I was exercising constantly as a reason to maybe splurge a bit more than I should? I think that is half my problem.. so now.. what do it do?
Needing to really pay attention to how much I eat in a day. Also the distribution of that food through out the day. I am finding my calories maybe ok.. but I sometimes eat too much in one sitting. as well as still enjoying snacks later in the evening.
I have to learn to eat less food.. at each meal and eat more often. So 5-6 small meals. and stay with in my calorie range. I have to learn what eating in moderation is... 1 slice of pizza,, not 3... 1 bowl of chili.... Pick a treat and savor it once or twice a week.. not every day. MODERATION.. is the key.. Today I am doing great. I've stuck to my meal plan I even have a skinny cow icecream sandwich waiting for me to indulge tonight.
My challenge is not pigging out , but to eat what is in front of me, enjoy it, take my time. Be aware.. No eating unconsciously..
1.post food ,stay in my range 1200-1550 in 5-6 meals/snacks
2. Be ultra aware of what I am eating . Enjoy it. Eat slowly. And I must remember my stomach is not that big. Eat enough just to feel comfortable.. not over stuffed.
3. continue to exercise as I have been. strength workout 3 times and add 1 more class/or aerobics session.
Ok my sparks friends. time for me to go enjoy my snack for tonight.
