I think I figured out my problem with the exercise videos. After working with the 2 year-olds all day I want some quiet time when I get home. Walking gives me that. I get to enjoy the quiet and get some exercise. It's dark by the time I get out of work and the wildlife sanctuary is closed. As long as I start the video as soon as I get home I should still have a little time to relax before my husband gets home. I get distracted easily doing the videos so I am going to shut the cats out of the bedroom and try my hardest to focus on the workout instead of what else I could be doing around the house. It's time I really make myself a priority.

I really like your goal because I am thinking of doing the same thing. I figured that if I did a 10 minute video to start with, then build up to 2 videos a day, and then up to 3 videos, I will be getting the 30 minutes a day, indoors, regardless of weather. I like your goal and thanks for inspiring me. emoticon

Yeah, your problem doesn't seem to be time. It seems like those videos don't really hold your interest. Exercise is so important and certainly needs to be a priority. But are those particular videos going to help you accomplish your goals? Maybe you can rent or borrow some others to find something you enjoy more? Do you have digital cable? My free on-demand channels have tons of workouts! Maybe printout some workouts you can do while watching other shows? Sorry... just brainstorming here.
