A whirlwind -- in a good way, finally!

Saturday, December 01, 2012

My whole life has been a whirlwind lately -- in some not so very good ways. But even tho I'm pretty exhausted due to poor sleep, stress & travel, I'm having a great time!

Met up with NATPLUMMER & her hubby for some prerace carbs last night (yeah, I know, the race isn't til tomorrow -- whatever!). We were all pretty darn tired so it was a short party. Got together again this morning to pick up our packets & tour the expo, which thankfully wasn't too crowded early this morning.

They took off as her brother & girlfriend were coming in (and yes, NATPLUMMER, I went back & bought the hat) & I met up with my buddy KASMIR & Jackie (don't know Jackie's screen name). They sat with me as I ate lunch & we caught up & then they dropped me at the hotel.

I have another spark buddy I'd really like to meet up with & turns out she's staying at the same hotel! So one way or another I'm sure it will happen.

Relaxing a bit with some green tea.

Need some no-rain vibes for the race tomorrow apparently & Simba could use some eat vibes - he ate very poorly yesterday & I'm hoping to get a better report tonight. I am worried about him.

And I need to stay away from the damn dark chocolate edamame -- I may just have to lock those in tbe safe!

I can't wait to be at your level. :) It would be amazing to sign up for a race with a bunch of Spark buddies and meet up with them.
