Back to Maintenance, Back to Health

Saturday, December 01, 2012

After 3 months of active weight loss, I am back to maintenance mode! The 3-4 lb gain from a summer of binging has officially been incinerated.

For the longest time it seemed impossible to lose only 3-4 lbs while living my current, preferred lifestyle. But even though I fell and it took so much time to get back on track again, I learned much about my addiction and more importantly what I need to avoid and prevent certain missteps before they gain momentum. I am better prepared by my mistakes to keep on track and stay the course.

For that it was a worthwhile experience to undergo.

Weight Change Over Time:
Since yesterday: +0.1 lbs
Since a week ago: -0.3 lbs
Since two weeks ago: -0.6 lbs
Since a month ago: -1.0 lbs

You are losing 0.5 lbs/week of total weight.
You are burning 228 cal/day more than you eat.

You have been tracking your weight for 2.1 years.

You have reached your goal weight.

Great job of losing those 3-4 pounds. It can be very hard to lose and get back on track when you are used to your lifestyle. Welcome to maintenance again. Good for you. emoticon

I really like your way of analyzing the issue of weight loss! Maybe if we all did that we wouldn't be trying to loose weight!
