Shocked! Weight loss, Celeb crush and Bathroom Exercises :)

Saturday, December 01, 2012

I stepped on the scale this morning and the number was a total shock, I am down 10lbs since Monday! I found out Monday that a family friend got us backstage passes to The Flaming Lips New Years Eve Freak Out so I will be meeting one of my celebrity crushes, Wayne Coyne!! Needless to say I have not slacked once on my diet and exercise since finding this out lol.

Speaking of exercise, I have figured out a great way to fit in an extra 30-40 minutes :) My son loves to take long baths and a couple of days ago I got the idea to take my Bali bands in there and see what I could do while he played. I looped the band around the outside doorknob then shut the door and got to work alternating between the band and jumping jacks... at the end of his bath I was sweating more then I do during the 4 mile bike rides I do during his naps (stationary bike of course, I don't bike off and leave him sleeping lol).

Very neatM Saw his house on hgtv-seems like a really cool guy. And, very clever way to work extra minutes in!

I've no idea who this Wayne guy is, but I imagine I'd be huffin and a puffin and putting in extra effort if I knew I was gonna meet Donny Osmond (the celebrity crush of the day, back in the day.....)...

Great idea of using the time while your son is taking a bath!!
