Trying to keep focus

there are 50 million things vying for my attention at the moment including:

2 more weekly reading summaries
5 e-learning modules that need to be constructed by Dec. 12
Matching pdf guides for all the coursework
My research proposal for Digital libraries due Dec. 19
Contentdm Database entries for Metadata for the internet Due Dec. 18th

Also: Christmas shopping, plane ticket buying, groceries, and a million other stupid little things.

blah blah blah. augh I wish I could time travel, and skip to the 20th.

First the bad news. Based on my current weight loss ( or lack there of the past 2 weeks) I don't think I'm going to make it to 160 for Christmas without a Christmas miracle. This makes me sad because I was making awesome progress my first week and then *pew pew lazers* progress destroyed.

That said, According to my fitbit, I can hit my goal weight of 145 lbs on March 30,2013...yay? I can get to my Christmas goal of 160 lbs by Jan. 19th,2013 ::deeper sigh:: Slow and steady I guess. Basically it's going to take an extra two weeks or so because I blew 2 weeks :-/

BUT, I'm not discouraged. A wee bummed, but HEY I bought a pair of size 10 pants in a skinny fit the other day. ehhhh? Prettttttttttttty exciting. My suit pants look baggy and unprofessional now... I bought black slacks, so that I could at least keep using the suit jackets. I briefly considered tailoring them, but I'm not anywhere where I want to be goal wise. Maybe at 150 we can talk tailors.

I also want to share, that I climbed 39 flights of stairs the other day. My building has 28 flights, so I went up 28, down 28 then up another 11. My calves burn.

I blame fit bit, and the badges. I think once the soreness isn't so bad, I'm gonna go for 50

    Don't get BUMMED! Your pants say more truth than the scales! For us ladies is always more difficult then for them guys, our weight is just so much more capricious.Congrats on your 5K! emoticon

    Hey, I'm glad you're not discouraged--that's too easy to do I think (been there done that). And wow--you've got your exercise on! All those steps--it reminds of the one and only Biggest Loser ep I saw where they had the contestants climb up stairs (maybe in New York? don't remember now), geez they looked rough at the end. Mucho congrats for getting it done. The Fitbit is sounding more and more interesting, lol. Hope you have a splendiferous weekend!
