Day #5: Using a bad day as motivation to workout!

You know those days where you feel bigger, flabbier & ickier than your "starting" point? Today was one of those days. It might have had something to do with the cheese dip & salty chips last night... or maybe it was the pancake, sausage & bacon? I know it couldn't be related to TOM coming next week or that I am just impatient. Good grief, it's day #5, so shouldn't I be tight and trim by now? HAHA! Now I remember why I hardly ever eat out.

I felt GROSS! I had two choices. A) Go home and mope around feeling sorry for myself, or B) Get my flabby-feeling-body to the gym! I picked B.

CARDIO: 25 min elliptical, approx. 280-300 kcal burned
ST: 6 different leg machines, 3 sets each of 10-20 reps
TOTAL: 45 min workout, lots of sweat & feeling MUCH better and less bloated already!

NUTRITION:
- 2 organic gala apples, homemade organic hot chocolate (whole milk, water, cocoa, cinnamon, honey, stevia, salt), organic KIT bar, 1/4 Firehouse Hero sub, 5 chips & 1 tbsp salsa. No dinner yet, but thinking baked chicken and veggies sounds really good for my birthday dinner!

I'm glad I stayed on track today & used my negative feelings as motivation to push myself harder at the gym! Happy Friday!!!

    Great way of taking negative thoughts and making them positive by working out. I may not be happier going into exercise, but am always happier afterwards.
