For the STRONG challenge we are to write a plan of attack for staying strong during the holiday break.
Exercise plan: Workout at the Y! Yes, we're getting our passes this coming week. I'm super excited to be working out in a gym again. While it is more affordable than a regular gym membership, it is still quite a bit of money~ I want to make it worth it! Plus, how can you go wrong with free child care!?
Eating plan: 1. don't refill the chocolate stash. Yeah, I have a chocolate stash, right close to me in my desk drawer. It is now depleted, and I plan to keep it that way.
2. Keep sweets hard to get. I know I can't totally avoid sweets. It's Christmas time, and I love to bake and make candies. It's just what I do. But that doesn't mean I need to keep them accessible and always available.
3. Stock up on whole foods! I'm trying to swing back into whole foods. Once I'm finally not sick anymore, I plan on making some great meals! With this I plan to plan my meals, write them on the calendar, and shop accordingly. Freggies, freggies, freggies!
4. Limit the treats from Trader Joes. I love the holiday season at Trader Joes. They have the tastiest treats! But they come at a price.
Support Plan: I'm not sure about this one. I know I can't do it without support. Maybe I'll look into other Spark groups. Maybe I'll make my own.
Motivation: two words: skinny jeans. This time of year is hard when my husband is away working. We have a Christmas party with friends when he's done with work, and this year I really want to look good! I bought a pair of skinny jeans- and I want to look good in them. While they do fit... I could look a little better, and I've got three weeks to do it!
