Today I weighed 150.5! This is a new Personal Best since I joined Spark in May 2009. I won't record it until I'm sure it's going to stick around. But even SEEING that number is encouraging. Only 1 more pound before I see a middle 4! It's been a decade or more since I've weighed in the 140s.
Yesterday we only hiked one trail (4 miles) instead of two trails (7 miles) because *somebody* forgot HIS lunch. (Harumph, I made the darn thing all he had to do was put it in his backpack!) Actually I was secretly relieved because I was tired. I shared my lunch and we got to enjoy a sunny, 65-degree-day on a trail we'd never taken before. I LOVE sitting on a rock in the sunshine in the middle of nowhere eating my lunch. It's just one of my most favorite things to do EVER.
Today I did Zumba followed by Pilates. Yikes, those classes back-to-back just WEAR ME OUT. I am pushing myself because I know that if I want to move forward I have to move forward. Ya know? ("To get where you've never been you have to go where you've never gone.")
I made my fitness assessment appointment for next Thursday morning. Can't wait to see what I've accomplished since my last set of measurements at the end of June. More importantly, I plan to go back to monthly assessments to stay on track.
I felt so good about my weight today I cleaned out another drawer of BIG clothes and some are getting pitched and some are going to the local mission. It feels good to purge the old.
OK, now I need to get some work done around the house! Take care everyone and have a good weekend!
