I decided to go for a walk outside today, and went a different route. Instead of trails, I walked on the streets, and headed west. It is about 40, but I wore sweatpants, a long sleeved shirt, and a T-shirt over that with a windbreaker, plus a hat and gloves, and set off. I just kept on walking, and when I made a huge circle. At the halfway point, I stater wondering if I had walked to far, and was thinking it would have been smart to bring a phone, but I still felt great, so just continued on, and after a little over 3 hours, I got back home. I put the route into my trackers, and it says 10.15 miles.
I haven't walked this far in years, and it is double what I do most days. I am a little tired now, but cooking lunch, and then going to take a nap. I stayed up late last night ( 3 AM ), and got woke up at 9:30. I was watching the end of a movie.. Hereafter, with Matt Damon. I think I missed the first 20 mins or so, and now need to see them. I didn't plan to watch more than a few minutes, but it was good.
I achieved half of my goals for November. I did lose 8 lbs, and Sparked every day, which considering I was in hospital is amazing. I was online Saturday morning, and Sunday night after being released. However 2 meals at the hospital were " cheats ", and that put me over 3 this month. Plus the week before I went in hospital, I was having breathing difficulty, and didn't exercise every day. I set 4 new goals for December
1) Exercise 1 hour a day
2) lose 5 lbs
3) Spark every day
4) NO cheats.
Today, I had 6 eggs for breakfast, instead of 4, but my throat is sore a bit, so I am going to switch my beef to chicken, and just cook up 8 thighs( 2 lbs ) for lunch/dinner. That leaves me 6 calories below my range, but I think it'll average out.
Tonight my brother is working, so i will just be watching basketball, and relaxing, reading The Silmarillion. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
