O: Overcome the obstacles of the BLC/Holiday Break. Journal or blog your plan to continue your weight loss success during the break (one time points 1000)
The BLC challenge ends this coming Wednesday with our last weigh-in. The *NEXT* BLC, #21, starts up again in the new year. (01/16). I've been lucky and have reached my goal weight so, for my break, I need to figure out how to maintain. I'm learning that it's not as easy as one might think. I'm not that girl in high school that "can eat whatever I want, I'm *always* 126 pounds!" Actually, I kind of dislike her a little bit. She was cocky and didn't appreciate what she had when she had it. Plus, I really miss eating an entire box of Oreos without paying the price on the bathroom scale.
So! My first order of business was to join my friend Crystal in a "no fast-food in December" challenge. I'm not looking for perfection on this one, just a solid effort. I can pretty much guarantee that, most days, FF is avoidable but there may be one or two when it's not.
Secondly, I'm going to keep to my fitness schedule. This one's a little easier. Especially when I have TWO FULL WEEKS off from work at Christmas. Running and the gym may be the only things that keep me from going stir crazy.
Third, and this one is the toughest, I'm going to try and keep within my calories 85% of the month. That's 26 days. Yikes.
Lastly, I'm going to keep up with what my BLC20 team does. With them by my side, I know I can accomplish anything!
