I don't usually post videos to YouTube. I mainly stick with my peeps here and on Facebook. But hooping.org is trying to encourage hoopers of all sizes. They asked all of us "curvy" hoopers to submit a video. After much thought, I decided I wanted to be part of that message. And, since my hOOp journey has also been my SparkJourney, I wanted to share the video with y'all too.
I asked Audrey if she wanted to be in the video and she said, "Of course, Mom! Your hoop story is really about us. We have to do this together." Gosh, I love that kid! Remember when I found that old video of her hooping in the 4th grade talent show?
That girl has become a young woman, but she's still my favorite exercise partner. And guess what? She's on Day 13 of her exercise streak. Go Audrey!
my favorite workout buddy
Her BFF, Emily, went with us and helped with the camerawork. She's become a hooper too. Plus, she's willing to ride in the back seat of the HoopMobile, with all the hoops. She said it was comfortable, but I know she's just being nice.
Emily's a good sport.
So, hopefully, this will encourage somebody not to worry so much about what they think they look like. Life is meant to be lived, no matter what size you are, have been, or will be. GO PLAY!!!!
