Notorious-famous, well-known
We have reached the end of November and I have survived
my series of words starting with "N".
I think I saved the best for last.
December is "notorious" for being a month of indulgence.
The Christmas season is replete with cookies, rich foods,
wines, parties and gatherings that are well-known for a
abundance of the holiday treats. But think back to the
reason for the season.
As we move forward, let us be thankful for what we have-
our family and friends, our warm houses and all other good
things. Look around and see the need that others, who are
less fortunate, live with on a daily basis. The homeless,
those living in mission housing, those dispaced by natural
disasters, the poor and all who are struggling. Reach out
a hand to any of these and you are spreading the love of
Jesus, the true center of the Christmas spirit.
Make this time of year "notorious" for caring for those
you can help in some small way. We may never be famous
for those acts of kindness but someone is watching us
and He certainly will approve. Be a Secret Santa and let
your love shine. You are all shining stars on SP but
let's take our message to the world. We can do it!
Thanks for stopping by each day to see what I could
share with you. My dear Spark friends, you are the
world. HUGS!

What a wonderful blog and so timely. Yes we can all do little acts of kindness that will make the season so much better for those less fortunate. I have gathered some gently used coats and will drop them off for a local coat drive, I have bought some toys to donate to Toys for Tots, we are doing a food drive, little acts that will improve the lives of others who we will never meet but hopefully it will make a difference in their lives.
