My holiday accountability blogs start this weekend, though I'll not likely do daily accountability blogs until the week or two surrounding Christmas because that is where the majority of my challenges will happen.
During the weekdays I don't have much going on. But I have something planned every weekend until we leave for Fl. So I'll do weekend accountability for now, and daily accountability later.
This weekend's challenges~
Sat- Date with my husband
Sun- Rajin Cajun (restaurant in Houston)
My plan for this weekend is to avoid the popcorn at the movie theater with my husband on Saturday. And instead of eating at a typical restaurant, I have suggested to him that we eat at Jason's Deli. I do really, really well with their salad bars! I can have a killer salad there for very low calories... lots of fresh, organic veggies!
Sunday will not likely be so great (calorie-wise). He bought a Groupon for Rajin Cajun, which is a great Cajun seafood restaurant that we just love! So I will not be eating low calorie on Sunday but plan to make up for it by running, walking, or hiking that day. Plus, it will be the only meal that I eat that day (because it's very calorie-laden).
I will update my progress on either Sunday night or Monday morning and let you know what kind of damage I do!
Today I weigh 144 lbs. I'll be happy to make it through the weekend and not gain any more than 3 lbs. The sodium alone from my meal on Sunday will inevitably cause me to gain. But I'll do damage-control next week to prepare for next weekend's challenges!
My reward for doing well this weekend and this upcoming week will be this new dress I bought for a dinner party next Sunday!!! It's a size 4. It looks boring here but I'm going to accessorize it with new boots, tights, and a scarf!! I'm usually not so adventurous in how I dress... but I figure I'd give it a try!!
