Got a ride in yesterday

Thank heavens for that, I actually got a very quick 30 minute ride in yesterday between showers. I left just after a shower had finished and got back in our home about 30 seconds before another downpour.
I didn't go far, about 5.5 miles but as it was my first ride for 10 days or so, I was happy with that. Not a chance of getting out before work this morning as Ken has doctors appointment and then a clinic appointment. I might try a squeeze a quickie in between dog walking and dog grooming as I have an hour to spare. As long as its not raining that is.

Food went well yesterday, just over 1000 calories. I seem to be getting heavier rather than lighter but I am hoping that its a blip and not a trend. Seriously thinking of doing a 'clean 9' detox, a Forever Living Gel and nutritious shake thing for 9 days, maybe over Christmas (there is only the 2 of us so we don't tend to stuff out over Christmas) as its our quiet time from 24th Dec to 2nd Jan. That might well be a way to go. I've done it before and I felt great, its just finding the money (same old issue). I would rather save for a fitbit I think.

Yesterday, I counted my steps for a minute. 118 steps per min. I rounded it down to 115 for ease of counting. I added up all the minutes I walked, with a stop watch rather than the usual just checking on my watch and then timed a minute's walk by the minutes walked. 16000+ steps. I really ought to be dead skinny. Need to sit down and have a rethink about my exercise, food habits etc again.

Anyway, apart from my headache, I feel good today. Bring it on, I say!

    Congrats on the bike ride! How nice when the universe opens up to allow a 30 minute break in the rains. emoticon

    You might want to consider whether you are eating too few calories. Most bodies need at least 1200 or they go into starvation mode. If you aren't losing, that might be why.
