Today was also busy from start to finish. Fortunately I was able to get a short treadmill run in at the gym (1.5 miles) because I spent much of the day in my office, punctuated by teaching a class. I have a report due tomorrow so I'll get to know my computer even better. But I managed to eat reasonably:
Breakfast: banana, almond butter, tea.
Lunch: 6 oz. ham
Snack: dried dates, almonds, black coffee
Dinner: pan-browned ground beef, nicely seasoned with tomatoes - some of the last of our summer harvest! -- and garlic.
Dessert: a large portion of my daughter's no-egg coconut cream pie (see yesterday's entry. The crust was made from coconut flakes and coconut oil. It's delicious).
We got an invitation to a birthday celebration at a local brewpub this Saturday. I love microbrews but they are now on my forbidden list having gone wheat and gluten-free. I doubt they will have a GF brew available. Oh well, I've been less tempted by beer than even two months ago. It will be a good experience - right?
