So, though tracking my food and such, I find that I always go over my calorie goal by about 300 calories. In the past, its been more like 1,000 calories over my goal. So, I've made progress. I no longer give up once I go over my goal. I just set out to do a little better the next day, instead of binge eat on chocolate cake mix. Oh, how I loved the chocolate cake mix.
On the exercise note, I do a lot of it. At first, my goal was at 750 calories a week, but I surpassed that within the first two days. So, I set my goal a little higher to 1500 a week, but I surpassed that as well. I don't really want to stop what I was doing (an aerobic dance class), because I am paying for it and I really, really enjoy it. I've burned over 2000 calories this week. Maybe this isn't a bad thing? Maybe me burning so many calories can make up for the 300 calories I shouldn't eat. Or maybe I'm just not tracking my fitness right. I have a 60 minute class, so I log it for 60 minutes of aerobic dance, which is about 500 calories burned. So, I don't know. I'll just keep up what I'm doing and see what happens, right?
Ah, two weeks in and I still feel like I can make a change. (:
