For myself. Someone help - I need an intervention! I bought 4 workout dvds on today - because they were each like $5. I'm trying to convince myself to be a workout at home girl. I seriously need to cancel my gym membership. It is super expensive, and I NEVER use it. I really like the gym - it is one of the nicest gyms I've been to. And for a while, that was enough to get me there. But it's so inconvenient. I have to drive past my house to get there. It actually takes longer to get to the gym from my house, then it does to get to work from my house - so it feels like such a long drive after work to get there. So I never go. I am determined to get there by Saturday at the latest to cancel it, because I have to give 30 days notice, and I dont want to pay at all after December. Plus, that's extra $$ in my pocket!! Besides, when I want to go to a gym, I just go to the one on my base. Granted, it is not nice at all. It's kind of depressing and gloomy. But it's across the street from my office. And free. And there is another base gym close to my house, that I go to sometimes on the weekends - and that is actually really nice. I really like the gym I'm a member of because they have an AMAZING pool, but I never use it. Waste of money.

Anyway, so today I ordered 4 workout dvds. Three 10 Minute Solution dvds - figured this would be a good way to ease into the home workouts; and a Jackie Warner dvd, because I always hear good things about her. My plan is to build up a workout collection so that I have different workouts to do everyday - the biggest annoyance to me about at home workouts is feeling like I am doing the same thing everyday. Besides, I am limited with what I can do right now anyway because of my hand - at least these are some things I can do - well Jackie Warner might have to wait a while.

I seriously love Amazon because I have Amazon Prime, and I get free 2 day shipping, and usually it arrives the very next day. I know I paid for that, but seriously, it's worth it for how often I shop on Amazon. Now, if only I could start working on Christmas present shopping for everyone else...

I also bought a book for my kindle app on my ipad! I joined a book club!! Woot! The first meeting I'm attending is next Thursday (barring I dont get stuck working late during this inspection) so I need to read the book! It's a Christmas book and seems like it will be a fun, easy read. I am really excited - I found the bookclub on and they are a very small group of people. I am hopeful I will enjoy it!

I get an Email from - you get a list of free or bargain books everyday. A wide selection - mystery, romance, childrens, horror, Christian, cookbooks. I have so many downloaded, I've become very choosy. I may get 4 books in one day, or none for several days.

I've gone from reading "real" books to nearly 100% Ebooks

Next you should join your local library! (I love buying from Amazon too but it gets expensive quickly.)
