Training Session #2

Last night's second training session was interesting and engaging. It mixed up a bit of cardio with the strength training just to keep the heart rate up going in to lift. This maximizes the amount of calories you burn. I'm sore; but, not so sore that I can't move, which is nice.
I would like to do continued work with a trainer; but, it isn't something I can afford. The first two sessions were three and I have a third free one in thirty days to see where I'm at. I'm asking family and friends to contribute to three months worth as he thinks that's all the time a trainer should spend with a client, save for occasional maintenance sessions. From his perspective, the point of working with a trainer is to get to the point of being able to do things in your own, and I like that.
Tonight I'm going to try my first Zumba class. :)
This weekend is a LARP weekend - so I won't be in a position to track calories. But I am going to try and stick to eating what I bring as opposed to gorging on bread and such. :)
