Just checking in.

check me out! blogging twice in 1 week!

I don't have much to say but wanted to stop and check in. I'm trying to come up with a plan for weight last going forward. it's just proving really hard when I can't exercise yet. the couple of things I do know are:

stop eating cookies! at least stop eating so many cookies.

as difficult as it is, I need to keep breastfeeding. apparently it's great for weight loss!

just because I can't officially exercise, doesn't mean I can sit on my butt all day everyday.

that's all I've got for now. I officially adjusted all of my SparkPeople goals today too. the new goal is to lose all the baby weight plus 10 pounds by my next birthday. Let's hope I can do it!

Well, I know you can do it...so instead of hoping, let's see you do it. Wait, when is your birthday? LOL!

Hang in there...you'll be able to exercise before you know it. Right now you can do brisk walking, right? I've never had a c-section, so I'm not familiar with the rules.
YES! Breastfeeding is a great way to lose weight...even though I never had fun with it either. Honestly, this time around, I've already purchased a middle to top of the line breast pump to use. It takes up a little more time since I will have to pump in addition to the feedings, but it's so worth it (savings, better for baby, weight loss, etc.). The pump is suppose to have you empty (it's a dual pump) in 15 minutes. Let's keep our fingers crossed on that one!

Hope you are enjoying every minute with you're precious little girl!! Congrats again!!

That's a great start to your plan! Hang in there and breastfeeding definitely helps! Not only does it help with weight loss, but it also forces you to drink lots of water and eat healthy(ier)! Good job!

Well, think of it this way, breast feeding means less bottles to wash! ;)
And one of my friends recently went lower than her pre-pregancy weight by doing nothing but breastfeed the whole first year (no exercise!)
    Good luck with the cookies!
