The Colors of Wellness

Our GREEN smoothie this morning was a drab OLIVE color. Usually it is a deep purple, but I changed up the fruit in it to peaches instead of BLUEberries, which turn it PURPLE. For lunch I will have some of the GREEN OOZE which goes by the fancy name of Vitamix Veggie Soup. It has ORANGE and RED veggies in it but apparently green trumps orange and red, just like purple trumps green. I will follow up lunch with the lush DARK BROWN of a square of Lindt 85% dark chocolate with a touch of seasalt. For afternoon snack I will have hummus which turned an "appetizing" GRAY color because all I had were BLACK sesame seeds instead of WHITE. I'll eat it with some ORANGE carrots and watery GREEN cucumber and some nice GOLDEN BROWN brown rice snaps. For dinner, I feel like I need to get out of the pureed foods and into some grown up foods. I'm not sure exactly what I'm having yet but it will involve a lot of chewing and distinct colors. After dinner, I'll go to Zumba, where my face will turn a nice PINK - oh all right, a nice TOMATO RED color which will prompt total strangers to want to feel my pulse and rush at me with a defibrillator.
