Three things today:
1) My schedule is kicking my butt. I feel like I can only get three areas of my life together at a time. So, yesterday it was Work, Family-Time, Health. I got a bunch of stuff done (not enough, but a bunch) for work, I spent good quality time with my hubs, and I ate well/worked out. But unfortunately, I didn't do anything for my Internship or Homework/Class. I can't seem to get all five areas in balance. I AM TIRED OF THIS. But I don't see any way out right now. Ugh. Today will be Work, Internship, Health. If I can, I need to do Homework. But I'm going to just try not to suck at the other areas first.

3) Yesterday, I started to get back to lifting. Which I love. I'm doing the Wendler 5/3/1 program, which is focused around the four "big" lifts - Squats, Deadlifts, Military Press, Bench/Chest Press. I love this program.
*It gives me the chance to get stronger and make measurable change EVERY time I go to the gym.
*It gives me a smaller waist. Eventually. I can stay the same weight and drop sizes pretty consistently when I lift.
*It gives me the flexibility to spend 10 minutes in the gym or 40 minutes in the gym, so I can work it into my schedule however I need.
*It gives me something to talk to the hubs about since he actively hates my favorite type of cardio and doesn't like to hear about it At All.
*It gives me a bad-a$$ feel to do barbell exercises. Hubs has confirmed that even thought I'm lifting light (for my military press, i can't even put weight on the bar - it's heavy enough by itself), the other 'real' lifters think it's awesome to see a 'girl' in there doing real lifts. I also get to do something super bada$$ while wearing earrings. Which makes me feel like a Gym Goddess.
