When it rains it pours I swear.
Saxy is doing great. His fur has come in and he actually JUMPED on to the toilet last night while I was in my bath! Yay Saxy! I realize I haven't given too much of an update on him so here we go.
They didn't get all the tumor. He really needs chemo or radiation to optimize his chances. I'm nearly out of money. He didn't handle being put under well, so I am not too keen on radiation that will mean every day for 3-4 weeks. I have been looking into oral chemotherapy. It's cheaper and can be just as affective. But the oncologist hasn't called and I really don't want to talk to him. I may call up the Vet school oncology and start working with them.
He is doing fantastic! Here's some kitty cuteness for you...
Yes he is in a onsie with little bull dogs on it. He was licking his stitches and this was much cuter and he liked it better than the cone head. I need to take him to get his kidney levels checked again, but I think he is doing fine. He drinks and eats and pees and poops. Not all at once, but like he should. He's a doll baby.
Now, this morning I dropped my elder cat Lacey at the vet to get her pee checked and the senior blood work. She is acting weird and tried to pee on a plastic bag in my bedroom, then on a blanket on my couch, and then in my bathtub. I was stopping her so, but in the bath tub there was very little pee and it was reddish orange. Off to the vet she goes. They were giving me crap about her vaccinations. I have a cat with cancer CAUSED by his last RABIES vaccination. Piss off. She is getting the purevax, but I am not happy about it. You know an indoor kitty has a like 0.000002% chance of getting rabies. Yeah, I think it is unnecessary.
Diet wise, still fighting the food in mouth disease, but getting better. :)
