a little set back

now here's a funny thing....was really beat by the time I got home from prepations and fittings for the fashion show tomorrow. Always a bad thing to be tired and miss your lunch. I had no idea the meeting would take so long. Anyway, when I got home my DH wanted to go out to eat. I was too tired to say no and we went to his favorite rib place. so of course i had ribs and beers and french fries. didn't put on weight but feel like crap today. Funny how different foods effect how we feel. First of all didn't sleep well at all...grease I am sure. Got up to go to the bathroom too many times to count. So I wish I would learn that eating crap makes me feel crappy. The good news is that I don't have to do anything today and can rest. Also knowing how tired I am I know I will sleep good tonight which means I should be at 100% tomorrow for the show. I have 5 outfits to wear. If I can I will try and get photos to share.

    Eating junk is a good way of pulling us back to
reality and realizing that is not how we want to
feel. Get a good night's sleep, then go have fun at the
Fashion Show and post the photos for us. emoticon

    I hope to see photos. Sometimes a splurge is worth the food hangover, and it makes us realize why we shouldn't do it often.

    I'm going to have to monitor how I feel the next time I eat junk...but don't feel too badly, if you do great 90% of the time you are doing GREAT! I can't wait to see your pictures of the show.

    You are so right about when you eat crap you feel crappy. Sometimes I forget it. I've had to relearn that lesson over and over! Hope I have it now.

Hope you can rest and relax; bet you'll sleep great. And I'm hoping for fashion show pictures, too. I'm sure you are just going to knock 'em dead in those 5 outfits!!

    I hear you loud and clear. Last Saturday I was invited over to watch my favorite college football team play on a large TV. Pizza and beer were served. Needless to say the body reacted badly since it has been so long since I had pizza. Good news, it recovered quickly.

    Sallie, it's amazing how our bodies react after months or years of eating healthy. I guess that our body is telling us to say no to junk. I now have a hard time with fried food, my body tries to get rid of it as quickly as possible.

    Oh, I know how you feel! After binging on Thanksgiving salty ham and greasy dressing leftovers.... I felt like crap for 3 days. My face even broke out, and I always have a clear complexion.

Can't wait to see the pictures from the fashion show!

    Hope you can get a (few?) nap(s) in today. Our bodies are like fine tunes engines - th wrong fuel throws it out of whack!
