Just a short blog entry to say my brother passed away yesterday.

I just found out about it today as his wife's niece was so busy and she e-mailed me but had written down the wrong e-mail address. I sent her an e-mail so she could write me what she had sent.

Then I called my only living brother and my niece and we will see if we send flowers or what they want us to send.

Sorry this had to be a sad post but he said he was ready to meet the Lord.
The last words he said to me were on Sunday and he said "I love you too Irene".

I will always treasure that.

Sorry for the delayed response on this Irene. I am sorry to hear of your loss, but it is wonderful to know that your brother was ready to go on... and we KNOW he is in a better place. That is the biggest blessing when we lose a loved one, is if we are able to know they go home to be with our Father in heaven!!

I just got back from the beach and I see your post....I wish I lived closer to you as I would be there to hug you and care for you during this time.

I know you had the privilege of leading him to Jesus. I am so glad his last words to you were so comforting.

I'm so sorry for your brother's passing, Irene. I hope he didn't have to linger like my brother did. I would treasure those words too. I went home to shower when my mom got the call my brother had passed. I wish I had been there, but I know he wasn't alone. Jesus was there and he was there with your brother, too. Irene, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine what you must be feeling. I can't imagine my brother being gone. It is so wonderful he was ready to be wrapped in his creator's arms. Those I love you's are all that matter. Life all comes down to love.

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother's passing. In my own experience, knowing they were read helped me a lot when my mother passed away. I really believe we'll see our loved ones again one day, and in the meantime they are looking down on us and cheering us on. It doesn't take away all the pain but it does help some. I hope it helps you.
