Praying

That we won't flood with all the storms coming into N. Ca. They say we might get up to a foot or more of rain. YIKES.

Good luck! I hope you can salvage your important stuff before the storm so if you flood, you can save what's important to you and your family. Living in Florida, from June to November, I always live with this flood/hurricane thing in the forefront so I understand your anxiety. God Bless! emoticon emoticon

We got 15 inches of rain in 24 hours with a tropical storm back in June here in FL...we live right next to a pond. It came within 12 feet of our house foundation-we have great drainage in our neighborhood. Unless you live in a flood zone or near a body of water (unless you have good drainage provided like we did)..you should be fine. But, with flooding it is so unpredictable. Don't drive through any standing water on a road either...only six inches can sweep a car away. Be safe, stay at home until you get the all clear. If you live in a flood zone, best to move somewhere until it is over. Hope all works out for you. Good luck. emoticon

Hope it isn't that bad. So far, here in So. Calif., we only have sprinkles. High winds though. Knocked my friend's tree over.
