Hit the ground running!

After 2 days of a serious headache, I decided today I was gonna get back on track with my goal of running a 5K!

I picked up where I had left off in the program that I am using because I was able to run a 1/2mi straight through on Monday. So.. I plan on sticking with it this time and getting to do my 5K this summer.

I am having quite a bit of trouble getting in my daily calories this entire week. Maybe I will try adding in some grains and what-nots. I'm not a big pasta person however, rice and quinoa may become a staple in my diet at this rate.

I'm still on track with my water intake and fruit/veggie servings, doing good so far on week 2. Did 50min and 3miles on my treadmill today, felt good! emoticon

    I eat a tablespoon of chunky peanut butter on my fiber bar for breakfast. Very filling and gives me energy - plus lots of fiber. Just a thought. Keep it up!
