Aw man this sucks!

Tonight I was doing a Crossfit called Angie. It is a workout I have done several times and I know it and love it. It consists of 100 pullups (or in my case reverse pushups), 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups and 100 squats.

Well I was feeling amazing and strong and was just kicking ASS and was well in line to beat the heck out of my last time... and then... on my 8th squat... I came up and POW. I felt like I had been stabbed in the back. I saw stars. I actually fell forward and just lay there for a few seconds panting in shock. I got up and stretched out a little and tried again... nope, no way.

I have hurt myself emoticon

I could count on one hand the number of times I have hurt myself working out and none of the injuries have lasted more than a few days. So I am going to rest up for a few days and hope that will take care of it!

I think I might have just overdone it Monday. I did a workout that contained a total of 240 jump squats and I feel like it's possible I got into a squat today and my body was just like NO MORE OF THIS SHT!!!!!!!!!! emoticon

It's actually not as bad as I made it sound. I can still do everything I normally do. I just have to be careful. The hardest thing is putting on pants. Maybe I will go pantsless to work tomorrow and just wear my lab coat all day emoticon

*sigh* Hope everyone out there is feeling strong and healthy and uninjured! I'm going to go eat my chili now. It smells soooo good!!!
