Today is one of the somber days of the year as today would have been my late husband's birthday. My youngest son Nathan and my daughter Brianna and I put up our little Christmas tree this afternoon and decorated it. My oldest son went to his friends house to spend the week. This is the first time in 4 years that we have put up a tree. I decided on the smaller one as it will be safe from the dog, the cats not so much LOL . All of the glass bulb ornaments were broke, so don't have many ornaments on the tree and I have no icicles on it because of the cats.

My knee pain is getting a little better has gone down to a 4 when I am still when I move it jumps to a 6. Before it was a 5 not moving and a 7 when I was moving. My knee also feels very weird like the kneecap has collapsed, it looks no different so I doubt that it has. I am still waiting for the doctor to call me back I have called 3 times as I need to tell her what was found out at the ER. I am still awaiting whether I can get an MRI done, which the ER says I really need done to really see the extent of the cartridge defect. I also need to get a hold of the Dr to tell her I need to be seen by an orthopedic surgeon. I am really not happy with my regular Dr. right now. My arms are getting quite the workout they are sore LOL. Shadow my dog is very depressed because we haven't been going for our daily walks.

Friday will be 9 years since my late husband died. You said it has been 4 years without a tree; does that mean yours has been gone for 4 years?

I am so sorry for your loss. When I lost my parents it was very hard to put up a tree after that. The first year it was just the tree-no lights-no ornaments. But now I do it to celebrate their lives & I put their ornaments on first. I no what you mean about the cats. I have to tie my tree to the wall & no garland or they eat it-lol! You must be so frustrated not hearing from the doctors. That is no fun. Keep your chin up. You are in my thoughts & prayers!
