Getting back on track after being sick!

Oh my gosh... If I had know when I first got sick that it would be almost 3 weeks before I ran again I would be so depressed! But it was! I tried to keep up my exercising until one day after biking to lunch I ended up blacking out while waiting for a table with my family. I missed a couple of days of work but haven't felt good for quite some time. I went to the doctor, they wondered if it was a heart thing... tests... later... it was just a terrible virus (or maybe several viruses). Ugh, but I'm finally feeling better. I still wake up in the morning with a really stuffy nose but this morning I got my but out of bed and bundled up in my winter running clothes.
To get myself out the door I told myself I was just walking to the dumpster to take out my trash but then I ended up walk/running about 2 miles. The fresh air felt great and I already feel my energy level back up to almost normal! I don't even want to look at my running schedule to see where I should be right now in my half marathon training but I'm just going to do the best I can this week and then adapt my plan to where I am next week!
