True confession time, I sometimes (not very often) skip a day of tracking my food.

Shocking I know. I still watch what I eat, it's just that sometimes I don't feel like taking the time to get on SparkPeople and enter everything on the tracker. And there are days when I wonder about the tracker itself. Like the other day I had 1/2 a turkey sandwich(turkey, lettuce, onions, mayo on wheat bread) at a local coffee shop. I later entered it into my nutrition tracker and it said it was a 182 calories...and...0 carbs,0 fat, and 0 protein. Really? Empty calories?

Come on! I know the bread had carbs, the mayo had fat, and the turkey had protein. I sometimes wonder about if it is giving appropriate amounts. It is no wonder that somedays I don't meet my protein goals. It doesn't always give enough credit. I'm not giving up on the tracking because I really do think it is helping a lot. If nothing else, it does keep me mindful of what I'm putting in my mouth. Just thought I'd share that with you and get your thoughts. Happy tracking all!
