So I decided to restart my Spark yet again. The last time I did it, I accidentally did the maintenance mode, and didn't realize it until people starting talking about a new feature (remember the handy quick reference calendar? That's what I am referring too).
So this time when I went to restart it was a bit of a surprise. Things are much more different than I remember, so I guess I'll have to get use to it all over again. Oh well, I prefer it that way. I set up everything and am happy with all the new goals I have. Since school is winding down, and today is my last day, I can focus most of my attention on my weight loss/goal body again. All I have left is my last class today, and my test that I am planning to do on Saturday (so I can workout Thursday and Friday morning).
I am so ready to be done with this 141 point something (141.something) crap soon! I have been 141.5 or thereabouts for 10 weeks. The only exception to this was last week when I was recovering from that stomach flu and saw the 139's, but I rebounded and back to 141.6 this week. It's not that I care that I gain from the 139. I knew that was a fluke because of my sickness, but still, I really am tired of maintaining. And that is exactly what I am doing. Since I have been at this weight/size for a while I am starting to see myself bigger than what I am. It's almost like I am actually getting larger (though the clothes fit the same), but I am not really. Plus I look bloated as all heck!
So I am making a new goal. I will do my 5k training program MWF (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Some light CT (20 minutes of elliptical on Tuesday, and 30 minutes of bike on Thursday), and full body ST on Tuesdays/Thursdays. And on Saturdays I am hoping to fit in a relaxing yoga thing. Sure that is going to be difficult NOW. But this is the plan for the new house as well. I will have private access Tuesdays and Thursdays to the living room with lots of space for ST, and then enough room to do a yoga DVD on Saturdays in my bedroom. I got it all planned! I just will have to find something for my CT since I won't have an elliptical, but I can ride my bike around the neighborhoods! And there is even hiking trails to a small lake/big pond around the house!
I still have a lot to do. And I am still stressing because my dad is home, but I feel like I am almost done with Chemistry and can focus on something else now.
I am also going to be watching my food intake a bit more than normal. I have really fallen behind on tracking, and just got out of the habit of doing it. But I am hoping that tracking will help me get over this awful plateau.
Today's workout was good. I actually needed the long sleeves, and because of the colder weather (mid 40's F) very few people were on the trail. And it was such a nice day! Mondays workout really was difficult. I didn't finish the last running interval and my legs were killing me yesterday and a bit today before the workout. Today's workout was much better despite the cold. I was able to finish all the intervals and my recovery in between intervals was good. I also was able to have a lower heart rate today. Next is Fridays, then week two. I am happy to say that the only pain I have is muscle fatigue and a bit of rubbing because my sock keeps falling down on my ankle. No bad knee pain. No injuries. I am cautiously optimistic, but optimistic none the less, that this time I will be able to finish a 5k!
Well that's it for me. I have a quite a bit of stuff to get done before my last Chemistry lecture at 3! Later guys!
