Theres always a first step

So yesterday i managed to track! I tracked all day! Usually the last few months if I said i was gonna track it didnt go past breakfast.
I didnt have all the food resources yesterday, and i still havent gone FULL groceries but i did pick up a few things, apples, yogurt, etc. Some small things i can use to go further in the day. Yesterday was great until after dinner, with no points left I had a yogurt with granola, THEN i was still hungry and had 4 chicken nuggets from the kids dinner. So i wasnt perfect but my first step accomplished and im still proud is tracking, because we all know thats the key to success. So today because i have enough food to get through the entire day- have tracked everything in advance. Im excited to give it another go, and know im more prepared to succeed today.
Just got done with my breakfast, a fiber one english muffin and a cup of coffee.
I need to re teach myself how to stretch out my food so my sugar doesnt drop. Because once i do that, i KNOW i will be ok.
But today is today, and im concentrating on what i need to do. Thats all i can do TODAY. No worries about tomorrow. JUST TODAY! Because everyday is DAY ONE!

    This sounds good. I hope you are still able to track! My tracking has been spotty but with the new year, I am hoping I can get it back on track. I think I have too many snacks in the house.

What's your favourite summer outfit? I'm using my vision of myself in a long white summer dress as incentive. One day a pair of short denims...but, this summer I want that elegant dress so back it tastes better thatn that bag of doritos and my mother's famous cake icing (I hope it feels more awesome than both of those things in my mouth).

    I totally agree with ARUNNINGKAT and suffer from the same problem. Perfectionism is a blessing and a curse. It helped me get to my goal and before schedule. And now in maintenance mode it is different than a strick diet and plan. It is also harder to do when other outside forces are at play, like family, job, environment, economy, etc. And when one is an ALL or NOTHING type of person, it's hard to just learn to do one's best instead of DOING IT PERFECTLY.
With all that is going on these next couple months, I am having to really work on my perfectionist issues so that I don't just quit doing what I know needs to be done. We can do this together, let's ROLL.

    It seems that sometimes we get so caught up in trying to make everything "perfect" that we never get started. Bravo on accomplishing your goal of tracking yesterday!
