I don't know what a blog is

Hi I'm Nena and I have no idea what a blog is so I guess I'll just ramble a little, First off my keyboard is messed up and the period, question mark and a few other keys don't work so please excuse the run-on sentences lol, OK I started with spark on 11-18-12 today is 11-28-12 in the first half week I lost 5 pounds in the next week I gained 1 but that's OK, I feel better, I feel thinner, less bloated, I move better, I have more energy, I'm tracking my blood sugars regularly and they aren't bad! I'm eating very tasty food and my daily cholesterol intake has dropped more than 50%, it is now under 300 some days under 200!! In short I am having trouble seeing a downside to any of this, Oh by the way any post or blog or any content on here from me may be from my husband, Mark, (He is in a similar situation weight wise but has not been diagnosed diabetic) Since we eat our meals together and eat the same things we saw no reason to track separately or to create 2 pages, if there is any difference in our daily diet or exercise mine is tracked, When we learned i was diabetic about 6 yrs ago he pledged to share my diet if I can't eat it he won't, OK enough ramble for now next time ill remember a thing called paragraphs :) emoticon

    Hi! I am Carol, I have been Diabetic most of my life. I didn't pay much attention to my diet for years. I eat what I wanted. The doctors I had, just didn't tell me how serious this was and would add more pills. I finally got one that fussed at me and worked with me. But still I would not eat healthy all the time. My husband is a meat and potato man. About 2 yrs ago he was diagnosis diabetic, I tried to get him to eat healthy but, he doesn't like allot of things. I have managed to change something, like mayo to one made with olive oil.etc. You are lucky your husband is with you on this. Hats off to him. I didn't really get healthy until I stated sp. May luck be with you and your husband. And a blog is about anything. Your thoughts , your day, something funny, something sad etc. Have a great day. emoticon
