Good question! Months ago I asked myself that very question. Here I was going to the gym to exercise but put so much effort into getting the closest parking spot; not just at the gym but anywhere I went. The light went on and I saw the irony of that. I set a goal on SP to park further from my destination than the nearest 5 parking spots 6 times a week. It took a while to change the old habit, as all habits do, but it's coming much more naturally to me and sometimes I just figure why search for that elusively spot and just head to the back of the parking lot. Why not? Every step counts!
