Here we are at the middle of the work week.
Tuesday's victory? There was a food day at work. I observed something that I think bespeaks the success of the work place wellness initiatives: about HALF the treat table was covered with healthy options. Fruits and veggies, plain cheese in single portion sizes, etc. The other half was as usual completely decadent (including pumpkin cheesecake, a particular temptation since I missed Thanksgiving dinner, being on the road!)
And I managed to avoid it all, as I had pre-packed my permitted options, and I stuck to my plan. So, that's Tuesday's victory. I also did my stress-busting break walks.
Wednesday's plan is the same: remember to breathe between the meetings. Find time to take those break walks and if I don't get enough of them in, make sure I get an after work workout.
* The job will not be benefitted by sacrificing your health. Balance is essential to life!
