Today I need to keep this promise at the forefront as I continue to be a prayer warrior for my best friend. Such a long couple of years she has lived up under and is trying to move forward with God's forgiveness. I am doing my best to send her uplifting notes by text to remind her that she is a beautiful child of God and loved because she has told me that is so easy to forget when you just feel like a piece of junk.
On a brighter note..... it was a fun day with the kids. Isaac did his schoolwork easily and didn't pull the grumpies on me because his sister wasn't doing schoolwork. She can't until her glasses come in and that won't be until the end of this week probably. Once he was done we headed out for our errands. I had a handful of "business" errands and then we hit the $1 store and office store to get the last of the gifts that need to be mailed and to buy their dad's "big" gift. We called him and asked him to meet us for lunch since he was working in town today and the kids had so much fun covering up the huge box that was in the backseat of the car. Thankfully he didn't park next to us so it wasn't an issue at all. Once home Maegann helped me wrap everything and I got the boxes ready to mail tomorrow morning. Later she helped me get the Christmas cards ready to mail. Only need the stamps now and they should be here this week.
This evening I decided to start a new cross-stitch project so went through my patterns and had Maegann choose one of the "cow" pictures. They all have scriptures and the one she picked is a little girl with the cow that talks about all God's creatures being beautiful. Ready to do one that is easier and on larger count. My plan is to help whip the night snack bug by keeping my fingers busy.
Tomorrow... gym, schoolwork, post office, Target for a birthday gift and ????? Even cancelling Maegann's piano lesson due to her eyes. I do have Bible study at 7 and the rest of the family will be at church an hour earlier because of the Christmas musical. I plan to go early and get items I need for the snack I am taking Friday night to Mom's Night. Should be a very quiet day overall.
