I had 4 fillings done yesterday. Ugh, so not fun. It took 2 hours!! One of them was particularly bad and apparently I need to get a root canal on that tooth. It sucks. Now today I've been dealing with pain all day. When I eat my jaw gets really sore. Obviously, this means vegetables are pretty much off the table right now. I have 2 more fillings scheduled for Thursday. I know it's awful. It's embarrassing to know how bad my teeth got. They look really nice when I smile, but my back teeth had major issues. Oh well, I'm getting it taken care of now and that's the important thing. I just want to sleep all day and eat soft food (i.e. unhealthy food). I'm not doing great at the moment. However, when these last 2 fillings are done I should get a break. As long as I don't have pain issues we can hold off on any further work until I get a job and get dental insurance.

I'm still waiting to hear back from the company I had a second interview with. I felt like it went really well. I met with the manager that was in the first interview as well as the Vice President. I felt really good about it. Then I met with the 3 people in the department I'd be working with. We got along really well and I felt like they would like to work with me. The interview was on November 16th and I haven't heard anything yet, so I'm starting to doubt myself. My original feeling was that I nailed it and I felt really confident I'd get an offer. However, I sent a thank you email last Monday and at the end asked when I could expect to hear from them and I didn't get a response. It might just be because of Thanksgiving. Also, hiring is run through their corporate office, so I think I'll email the HR person that set up the interview time with me and see if she knows when they're planning to make a decision. Fingers crossed it works out. I have another interview set up for December 3rd with another great company, so if they don't end up hiring me at least I have something else lined up.
