Weekend Review (a little late)
Tuesday, November 27, 2012
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! I sure did. It was jam packed and busy - which lead to me being completely off track the ENTIRE weekend. So much happened, so I'll just hit the key points.
Thanksgiving was great - small this year (compared to what I experienced last year). 2 of my husband's sisters and their families couldn't make it. So it seemed really empty and small, plus the 2 sisters that were there are HUGE Black Friday shoppers, so they cut out to get in line early! We didn't have any big ticket items that we wanted but still wanted the experience of going. So we went to the casino to waste time until midnight. I won!!! I won more than I have before! Now, I'm not talking thousands or anything, but a couple hundred dollars! It paid for our Black Friday shopping. :) I did make the mistake of being too lazy to change outfits before heading to the casino. After the casino and the mall, my high heel boots were KILLING my feet! It helped us get only what we went to the mall for and nothing more! I didn't want to look at anything extra because I wanted to get off my feet. Plus, we were POOPED!
Saturday we did some cleaning and decorating outside with Christmas lights. Sunday was a jammies day while setting up the Christmas tree and indoor decorations. Back to work yesterday... And yes, I skipped the gym..... AGAIN!
Today, however, I am back on track. I weighed in this morning - Up 2.5lbs. Nothing to cry about since I typically hang out within +2lbs of my low weight, then drop a bunch, then hang around within that low and +2lbs... etc. For example, I was hanging around 138-140 (138 being my low) and all of a sudden dropped to 135 and have been hopping around from 135-137. At 137.4 today, I'm not too upset. I made it to the gym this morning - but didn't have much time due to crappy traffic. I managed 15 minutes on the step mill doing intervals on level 10. Enough to break a sweat and feel the burn. Most important thing is that I got there!
This month's goals are pretty much shot. My only goal for the rest of the week is to come up with a KILLER challenge for the Sparking as a Team December challenge. Something that we will all WANT to do. Something that will PUSH us. I can't wait!
I hope everyone is having a great week so far!
