Well, after my last blog, I DID weigh in and measure T-day morning. Down 8 lbs and 10 inches!
Ate "normal" on T-day and through the weekend. However, on Friday, DH had an accident while putting up Christmas lights
... I got to ride in an ambulance for the first time
. Needless to say, my eating and exercise have suffered. I feel like I'm a single mom to 3 kids now (DH being one of them)... it's been hard. But I got on the treadmill again last night and pushed hard and it felt SO good!!!! Relieved some of the stress that had been building up - and allowed me to just NOT think for a bit.
Anyway, I'm hoping I can actually get in a full day of work tomorrow (today is more Dr appts for DH who can't drive yet)... I'm hoping he doesn't need surgery, but whatever it takes to get him back to health.
Hang in there everyone! We all have set backs (seasonal and otherwise). We can all get back on track and just power through. Remember - sometimes stress makes you feel that you don't have time to exercise... but exercise really does help eliminate that stress and make everything else easier!
