I started the Thanksgiving day great. I had a really good workout. I did fine with the Thanksgiving meal itself. Had one plate. Lots of options are already eliminated because of me being vegetarian. But, the snacking. Itís the snacking that kills every time, and the cheese, I eat cheese, and lots of it. So then itís a lot of sitting around and letting the motivation get really low. Then to top it, I go shopping at midnight. Donít crawl into bed until 4:30.
The kids get up around 7. Head to a doctorís apt, do a bit more shopping. Eat leftovers. Motivation still low, go to bed early.
Saturday get up early, clean the house, take the girls to swim lessons, chill at a library, eat out. Come home and got sucked into a game, claim to my DH ďIím going to workout!Ē Take a nap instead. Look at mags, crack open a beer, and sit, order out. Donít go to bed until 2:30 in the morning!!
So Sunday comes and I basically slap myself out of this stupor. I end up doing an 85 minute workout. I eat good foods and do okay at dinner. Monday and Tuesday, did good on working out and eating. So I feel Iím back on track, but I am so tired. My eyes burn.
Anywho, Iím very excited about meeting my goal. I set a goal of 1000 exercise minutes for the month of November. I have 47 minutes left to go. I can do that! Iím going to meet a goal!!
