Keep my kitty in your thoughts, please!

Tuesday, November 27, 2012

My cat, Baby, hasn't been acting himself lately. Lethargic, not eating as much, too mellow. Sunday night and this morning, he started to hiss and howl like he was in pain. I called the veterinarian, and she said to bring him in right away, which I did. She tried to look at him, but Baby is vicious when he's at the vet. She said there's something that is hurting him in his mouth somewhere. She's going to sedate him to get a better look. She said it could be serious but it's hard to tell at this point. Last year my best friend's cat had mouth cancer, and they had to put her down within weeks of her diagnosis, so naturally I'm thinking the worst here. Baby will be 14 in a few weeks, I've had him since I was 8 years old, and I'm worried sick. Please keep Baby in your thoughts and send us some positive vibes. Thanks, friends.

My baby boy.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers for your Baby to be OK! Believe me, I know of this all too well. I have a 16 year old that is near end of life now. Praying he can make it through the holidays. It is SO hard!!! Maybe yours could be as simple as a bad tooth... prayers for you & your furbaby!

Keep us posted!

14 is pretty old for a kitty. Here's hoping he's got some more time to enjoy his golden years.

    Hopefully he will be ok!
My kitty had a sewing needle that he found stuck in his tongue. They are mischievous like that!
