It's not easy to eat well when anything fresh turns to ash in your mouth.
This whole being pregnant thing is not for sissies, and I wish I could claim title to eating fresh and whole for the little one (who was confirmed to be a BOY today!)
But I've decided to eat what I can, the best of the choices in front of me and work on growing this baby to the best of my abilities (he's already 197grams!)
I'm choosing a mantra to alleviate some of my guilt on not doing as well as I should be and to encourage myself to keep choosing fresh whole grains over processed and to sneak as many veggies as I can into my meals.
I'm choosing this mantra:
Eat in a way you're proud of.
