Messed up again last night. Went to a restaurant with my brother. He is not feeling well, and wanted to go. I ordered London broil and peas. I forgot it has mushroom gravy on it, but thought that would be okay. Of course by the time I finished dinner, stopping for snacks at 7-11 sounded like a great idea. I had a 20 oz wild cherry Pepsi, and 2 York peppermint patties. I considered it to be a small cheat, but I gained weight today.. up to 225.6. I have to get the next 3 days clean, and get back on track. My biggest problem with low carb is getting over cravings. After 3 days I will be fine.

I am doing laundry right now, and my brother went to school for 1 class. He has a doctors appt for 1 p.m. He was hacking up a lung all night. Kept me awake till 4 a.m. Being sick put him in the hospital with A-fib, but they never gave him any medication to get rid of being sick. I told him to make sure he gets some today. Worried he might have pnuemonia. He has been sick for 2-3 weeks now.

I just had 6 scrambled eggs. I skipped the mushrooms, like that would make everything better..lol. I just want to feel less bloated as quick as possible. Drinking my second 20 oz bottle of water, and Sparking till my brother gets home. After the doctors, I am sure we will have to buy some pills for him, and I have to go to get me some chicken, and cheese. I am out. I have already cooked every meal for my day, but adding a snack of cheese., and dropping green beans, and mushrooms, so I have to change my trackers.

Then I still have to go to gym, and hopefully he can get to sleep while I am there. I woke up just before 9 , and he had obviously been up for a while, so not sure if he got more than a few hours sleep. I hope he is asleep, because I could use a 4-5 hour nap.

    No lie about those serving sizes! My kids always want to order a small pop which is now 16 ounces! In what universe is that "small"? So they cringe when I change their order to a child size. Which is STILL 12 oz!!!!!

Then I get arguments from the staff that I'm not saving anything by getting the kids' size.....

    Your getting back on track quickly. That's great!
The problem with pop is that everyone is serving huge sizes. It used to be sold in quantities as small as 6 oz., now the smallest you can get is 12 or 16. I love the taste of peppermint patties but have learned to stay with dark chocolate with mint flavor which is very low in carbs. Take a look at this one. I can have a quarter bar for about 10 grams of carbs. It's expensive so a rare treat but it saves me from stopping at the convenience store.

    Ah, I ate some things I shouldn't perhaps of had, but Scottish shortbread, and tablet which I haven't had since I lived there years ago.. eating out at special interesting places... those have "excuses" ... the pile of crackers, the bread and butter yesterday? Being lazy isn't a good reason!
