Day 2 went into the books and now I begin Day 3. I feel like I am doing pretty good with the eating plan except my tummy is not happy with all this protein. I have been going to Body Pump classes at least 1 time per week for the past 2 months. I feel like I am starting to see some definition in my arms and shoulders and this does make me feel good. I can tell I am building muscle in my thighs under all that flab. But, the flab isn't starting to burn and my pant legs are getting tighter. This is not such a good thing since my thighs not really fitting into my size 14 pants is what got me started on this trend to get healthy and look good. Thus, I have resorted to wearing skirts and dresses to work. I am going to stick with the plan and I can't wait to get to phase 2 and start burning some of the fat.
So proud of me for attending 2 BP classes in a row. I can tell that I am on my way to getting fit. I did something to injure my left knee on Sunday so I wasn't able to complete the last 20 minute of class because I didn't want to risk further injury doing lunges. Back again tonight. My husband is also starting to attend BP classes twice a week. He got jealous when I started going to the gym and cited that if I get to looking "too good" I might leave him. This is hilarious to me since I was about 30 pounds lighter when we married and he was about 90 pounds heavier (before weight loss surgery). I mean after 10 years who would want to break in a new husband. Seriously! :)
I am looking forward to the day and I think I am starting to get some energy back after it left me when I ate an entire table worth of food on Thanksgiving. I WILL NOT ever do the holiday binge again. I went from awesome amounts of energy to just let me lay down and die energy levels.
