Am still interested in becoming fitter, stronger and healthier so decided to learn about juicing. Bought a juicer, 10 books, emptied some cupboard space and set a goal of 14lbs in 11 days (if possible)...

I'm on day 8 and have dropped 12lb so far - so reckon I will reach my target. I haven't followed any plan except to drink 1 fruit juice and 2 fruit and vegetable juices every day.

I haven't cut out tea or coffee, or going out or cooking for my family or going into fast food outlets to pick up food for others because I wanted to "do it" in real life and not on a retreat in the middle of no-where...

I will be very interested in measuring my weight when I start reintroducing food on Saturday as I am planning to keep the weight off...

I read a lot about colonics and other "strange" things and thought hibernating animals don't need them - so will just measure going (or not going) and not worry about it. So far - no worries...

That's about it for now...

    I am a fan of juicing, not necessarily for weight loss but for the nutritional benefits. Congrats on your success. (The only negative for me is the cleanup:)

    WOW - that's incredible progress... How 'full/satisfied' do you feel with just 'juicing'? I have contemplated buying a juicer simply for the benefits of having fresh fruits and veggies that way. I'd love to have success like yours - but not sure a woman can achieve as much weight loss (seems men drop it faster).
