Today's eating began quietly and ended grandly.
Breakfast: coconut yoghurt, almonds, tea & coffee.
-- Interspersed with a half-hour strength and flexibility workout (I will start including my exercise with the diet for my own records and to provide context for my eating. Yesterday I ran 3.5 miles on the treadmill. Friday I ran 4 miles outdoors. Saturday a 20 minute workout with free weights.)
Snack: banana & almond butter
Lunch: leftover chicken and red cabbage; followed by a coffee
Late afternoon tea, two handfuls of almonds when I got home
Dinner: two hamburgers from freshly ground grass-fed beef, topped with vegan cheese (still wrapping my mind around the concept, but it's tasty).
Dessert: more almonds, raisins, herbal tea and almond milk.
