We had a memorial service for my mother on November 16. It was a splendid sunshiney day, the pastor spoke well and along the lines of how my mother believed. We had a nice entourage of family and close friends of my parents, some of whom I met for the first time. The sting of my mother no longer being with us is mostly gone, I am happy for her, for her life, for what she brought to our family, for her to rest in peace next to my dad in the place of their youth.
