First day

Monday, November 26, 2012

I got up at 4am and got ready for the gym this am before heading out to my first day of work.

Work was great, though I came home with a monster headache. I think it is a combination of sinus problems and reading on the computer for 8+ hours. Once I got all the legalese read and signed, though, I was able to start developing the program that I was hired to do. it will be fun!

My one (minor) concern is that I will not be able to continue with all the postings on here. I will be tracking food and exercise religiously. I will most likely continue to blog and will continue with my challenges. My downside will be reading all the articles and posting to the message boards.

Got home from work to hubby ready to finish dinner for me. He fried a steak (knowing that I prefer them broiled), made a mixture (GAG!!!!) of potatoes, onions and carrots with cheese and nuked a yam. I hate fried steaks, I don't eat mixed ANYTHING and I detest the texture of microwaved veggies. I want peanut butter tomorrow!

Gotta give him credit, though, for sending me a bouquet of my favorite flowers today- DAISIES! The note said, 'They don't know what a jewell they got and I lost" Your loving husband, Richard.

Meanwhile, my clothes are packed for the gym tomorrow, my lunch is made and I am about ready to 'hit the hay'.

Ahhhhhh...life is good.
